"How?" you may ask? Our commissions are built in to the same packages you are seeing online. You pay the same going rate and also have the vast knowledge and assistance of an advisor.

We would love to assist with all your travel needs, however, our focus is on pre-packaged tours, luxury and river cruising, and all-inclusive vacation packages (4.5 star or higher). We no longer respond to the following independent requests: Visa assistance and air-only requests, or leisure trips abroad that do not have a fixed package structure.

IATA ACCREDITED AGENCY

With IATA Certification, Wood Travel is communicating that we are operating within a validated framework to meet regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices.

MANULIFE INSURANCE AGENT

Wood Travel has a partnership with Manulife Insurance for our clients needs as they relate to travel. We refer to Manulife on our bookings and advise in accordance with policy and directives set out by the Alberta Insurance Council.

THE ALBERTA INSURANCE COUNCIL (AIC)

Formed under the Insurance Act, the AIC derives authority from delegations from the President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance and has been working for Albertans for 35 years with no cost to taxpayers. The AIC serves to fulfill the mission of protecting Albertans through the licensing and regulation of insurance agents, brokers, and independent adjusters.

BUSINESS LICENCING

Wood Travel has an active Lethbridge, Alberta business licence to operate. Having a business licence is crucial for my operations. It not only legitimizes my business and builds trust with customers, but it also ensures compliance with local laws. Plus, it can enhance my chances of securing funding and establishing business credit, while giving me access to valuable government resources. Overall, it’s a solid foundation for credibility and growth in my industry.
